Arizona attorney general drops charges against 1 in fake electors case

Attorney General Kris Mayes’ office will drop charges against one person in her case alleging coordinated interference trying to keep Donald Trump in office after he lost the 2020 presidential election.

Jim Lamon, a former Senate candidate, was among the 18 people charged by an Arizona grand jury in 2024.
