Janis Pelletier has been practicing law for almost 24 years. She has practiced in Arizona as well as at a prestigious law firm in Seattle, Washington. Right after law school, Ms. Pelletier began her career at the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office where she was lead attorney on over 200 felony cases, including assault, sexual assault, kidnapping, drug possession/sale and on many DUI matters. After leaving criminal law, Ms. Pelletier has successfully defended, litigated and settled hundreds of cases, thereby helping her clients avoid tens of millions of dollars in potential liability, in tort and contract matters, including real estate malpractice, product liability, premises liability, construction defect, defamation, false arrest, wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury. Ms. Pelletier is admitted to practice in both Arizona state and federal courts.
Ms. Pelletier graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelors of science degrees in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration from North Carolina Wesleyan College. She attended Arizona State College of law where she was awarded Pedrick Scholar honors and honors in legal research and writing. Ms. Pelletier is a member of the Real Property section of the Arizona State Bar and holds a real estate broker’s license. Ms. Pelletier is also a military veteran, having served in Germany.
