Garo Moughalian comes to Wilenchik & Bartness with international law experience having advised and assisted Liechtenstein at the United Nations on security counsel and international law matters and participated in the oral pleadings stage for the Colombian government before the International Court of Justice. He has also served the United Nations International Law Commission.
Garo has externed for both the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. He scored first on the Arizona Bar.
Entering law school with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Garo used his critical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills as the managing editor of the Arizona Law Review, and in his experience preparing a tactical memorandum for international trade, investment law, and antitrust for Tradelab. He was also a teaching assistant for the law course Sex, Race, Drugs, and Politics in the United States Supreme Court and a research assistant to Professors Tessa Dysart and Sergio Puig.
Garo commenced his practice at a private law firm in Phoenix before moving to W&B.
Garo’s international service benefitted his personal interest in world travel. He is fluent in Arabic, proficient in French, and has a conversational understanding of Russian.
